This version of the plastic sword has the wireless electronics embedded in the handle and our unique tip switch. This sword can only be used with the CWE Repeater or CWE Repeater Relay.
 
The tip switch has a similar contruction to a metal epee and is as easy to repair. The CWF tip switch has been tested for 250K+ hits to body and 500+ hits to a hard floor without any degradation in performance or damage. This is equivalent to more than five years of average use. 
 
These swords are available with either foil or epee guards and when used with the CWE Repeater or CWE Repeater Relay, can be used with either foil or epee double hit timing.
 
The sword uses two SR48 coincell batteries, which are typically good for over 100,000 hits. The batteries are easy to replace.
 
The plastic swords from CWF are not toys. They are intended to be used as a training weapon where conventional metal swords are either not available or unsuitable. Please follow the safety guidelines, which can be found in the Documents page.
 
The CWE Repeater is not included and must be purchased separately.
